I had a 750ml growler of Curiosity 18 last night and I can't say enough good things. I loved the restrained bitterness, and how soft and easy it was overall. Super dangerous at 8%. I hope this becomes the basis for a new regular TH dipa.

100% agree on this Lights On batch: amazing. Third time having it, and this batch is a juicy delight. Me and Mrs. enjoyed the hell out of a few during festivities yesterday. Haven't had a chance to crack into c18 yet myself, but gave two cans as a gift to the host of a bbq we attended yesterday in upstate NY; by the time I got home this morning he was asking how far the brewery was from me and how the hell he can get more of it. It doesn't take much preaching to get someone to convert to the church of tree house haha.

I was out of town and out of pocket all weekend. Did C18 make it through for fills?

Cracked a Julius, Trailbreaker and Very Green this weekend. All were about 3 weeks old and held up in the growlers just fine. Can't wait to get back out there.

Per Twitter... (2 hours ago..... you guys are slacking)

Brewing a sentimental batch today. . . 20 BBL batch into 2 10 BBL GW Kent Fermenters. . . Last time they'll ever see Tree House beer!

    Fittingly. . . Curiosity Twenty.

I preferred Lights Out over Lights On.

They had one two weeks ago and said they're close to being able to make it a regular thing.

While this is exciting as a huge fan of TH, it's also a bit concerning at their current run rate. Canning runs twice a week with 4-can pp limits and they still run out an hour or two into the 2nd day of sales. They've also been struggling to keep more than 3 tap lines open since their anniversary party. I fear that adding another day (Wednesday) will force them to reduce growler/can limits (fine for locals, rough on those of us who can only make it once every month or two).

I hope they've just been playing possum with their potential output while they streamline their canning line and brewing schedule in the new(ish) facility, but if they don't increase production I don't know how they'll keep up with the ever growing demand!

They recently posted on twitter that they were doing the last run on 2-10bbl fermentors with C20, which probably means they are getting rid of older smaller equitment to make more room for new bigger equipment. I do agree with you though, i make the trip as often as i can, but my drive is about 1 and a half hours, so i only make it up there once or twice a month. I try to take advantage of higher can limits when i can. Smaller limits wouldn't really deter me, hell im happy just bringing home 4 or 5 growlers, but being able to buy more beer just makes the drive that much more worth it. It does seem like they have been getting busier and busier every week, i don't think they would add a day to their retail schedule unless they felt like they could keep up, so who knows, we may not see another day added for awhile. Personally, i would prefer they open at 3 on thursday and friday rather than open Wednesday.

I've chatted with some locals in line, and this might be a worse idea than you think. There is a pretty decent sized faction that are already showing up at the brewery before 3pm for the 5pm opening, and many of them are there all 3 days TH is open, stocking up for friends and family. One guy told me straight up that he was there with his mother at 3pm Thursday, got their 12 cans of Julius, then returned right before they closed and got 12 more. Then he came back the following day (Friday, when I was there) and was top 30 in line for more cans! The earlier open really only helps locals, people on vacation, or those with jobs that get out early or start late. Added an extra day will at least give us regular guys (and gals) a shot at TH if we decide to drive that 1-2 hours on a weeknight. Like you said, if they can meet demand with bigger tanks, more power to them!

Impatiently waiting for them to put something about cans this week. Was planning on taking the long ride up tomorrow, but Id like to hit some other spots so Ive gotta leave early. Id rather go a day when there are also cans.

I would LOVE to see Treehouse brew a all citra hopped beer! "Finishing a zd while I was reading this thread" I bet it would be amazing!

I think the standard Eureka uses Nelson. I was under the impression that it's a single hop beer but I could be wrong. Anyone know for sure?

Eureka is a single hop American Blonde series. So far they have used Nelson, citra, galaxy and mosaic
