Hi, all! Apologies if I missed a similar thread in my cursory search.

I just got a surprise text from my sister saying that she's down in the West Palm Beach area, and wanted to know if I wanted her to pick up any beers for me. Of course I said yes, and immediately realized that she was probably offering to grab a couple of bottles, and not casefulls like I would... That being said, to keep her from running all over the place, are there any bottle shops I should direct her towards (places selling singles would be great, to allow for a better variety)? This site and Google seem to recommend Total Wine in Palm Beach Gardens, as well as the Corner Store (which sounds like quite the quirky place). Are those accurate recommendations and/or any other places?

My main (but not exclusive) interest would be any darker offerings from Cigar City or Funky Buddha (or Terrapin; none of these three are distributed here in CO), but I assume most of the stouts/porters would probably be out of season by now and not on the shelves anymore?

Thanks in advance for any advice, comments, snide remarks, etc.

Total Wine in PBG is prob. the best bet close to West Palm that has a large selection of singles and bombers. Cornerstore did back when I lived there but it was more of a fishing bait/beer store. Your sister may feel a little weird in there. There is also an ABC off Northlake.

If she can drive to Jupiter, my good friend's place is there called Beer City. His name is Chris and if you call he can work with you telling his inventory. He has one of the best selections in the area for a small store and he has a growler station with good locals that might not be bottled or canned. He can have an order waiting for you for her to pick up. Might be easier than being on the phone or texting with her on beer choices. He will have a good amount of terp, FB, and CCB.

Lurking on this thread, as I'll be in Jupiter visiting family this weekend. Will try to stop in. Thanks.

Thanks @HopDawg03! She made it to the Total Wine and managed to pick up some goodies. Beer City sounds amazing; hope to make it in one day when I'm down in FL.

I've spent a fair amount of time in WPB over the last few years and will say that the Total Wine off of state Rd 7 (I believe thats the road; it may be considered Wellington and not WPB) is legit. I have scored some great beers there (Last Snow, BCBS/BCBCS/BBBW, many others) with ease, and they tend to have beers sitting around the shelves for a lot longer than the same beers sit at TW's (or any beer store) here in SC (BA Bigfoot for example and others of similar quality). I'd check it out if you are in the area.

Awesome, glad things worked out and I got to help y'all. Zac, great idea--I bet there aren't many craft beer drinkers in Wellington. Lots of horse fanatics out there that prob. drink mostly wine.
