And that was my point, you don't have to disparage one thing to promote another. It was exciting to see, in the request for suggestions, repeated love for Grist House, Brew Gentlemen, Helltown, Roundabout, Voodoo, Grit&Grace, Butcher and the Rye, Dish, Cure, Meat and Potatoes, etc., amongst others.

Agreed. While I don't like Primanti's I'd prefer to off up a list of alternatives for people who want something more than the "standard" locations.

For instance, I'd recommend grabbing a sandwich at Thin Mans or a Fish Sandwich at Wooleys as an alternative for lunch while you stroll the strip district.

I haven't eaten at Primanti's in a few years, but I do enjoy their sandwiches a ton. It's weird that they have a location at Penn State. That just doesn't feel right.

I thought that too. We will have to keep our eyes on their website.

it was me that jumped the gun there. there's a sixtel or two of each hanging around in the cellar, but I don't know if we will see them for the grand opening; with the turnout expected a sixtel of a briar would probably last 20 minutes or less and may not go over so well. I apologize if you don't see them this weekend but I can post it on here when they go on if I hear anything, no matter when that is!

Two new beers at Roundabout yesterday and another new one tonight. Orbit Pale Ale, Barrel Aged Pumpernickel Porter, and Peach Berliner.

this too, website will more than likely get updated about a briar tapping, but it could be a surprise/last minute thing if so you should hear about it here

Let me know what you guys think when you try the Peach Berliner, it sounds yummy. I wasn't very impressed with the Apricot Berliner but love the idea of this one.

Don't listen to any sort of review I give of their beers, they're still my first crush or whatever.

That being said I liked the Apricot Berliner.
