    Pretty Average IMO.

I was really excited for this beer to be released. Opened my first bottle last weekend and ended up dumping half the glass. I kept getting a weird chemical aftertaste...perhaps what many describe as "band-aid." Maybe it was just me, I am interested in hearing what others have to say.

Found this for the first time in socal yesterday. Tried a bottle with a buddy, it is sour forward but falls off almost immediately on the back. Got malt notes on the back. After reading the label it says that the beer "suggests" its sourness, not "asserting" it. I found that to be a pretty accurate way of putting it.

I thought this was pretty good. I think where some of my friends have been disappointed was expecting it to basically be Love Child. 2 completely different beers but because they are both "Boulevard sours", they thought they should be the same.

I would just like to state that I hate the name of this beer with a passion.

Clerk: are you looking for anything in particular?

    Me: Yeah. Boulevard Tell-Tale Tart

    Clerk: Say that again..?

    Me: NEVER. Shoot me

I guess I don't understand. What is it that bothers you so much about the name?

I'm not in love with it, but it doesn't bother me. What makes you cringe?

Maybe he doesn't like the name because he has a guilty conscience about something...?
