But you should try some HF, very worth it just get a regular beer like Everett. I had that with DC Brau PQ proter and Founders Porter, the DC and Founders were both great but the Everett was so much more complex while being refined.

Sadly to say ive tried of 200 different craft beers and i'm still a noob. Just converted about a year ago. I used to be an Anheiser Busch guy, but supprisingly my g/f turned me on to craft beer.

Everett would trade easily for stuff in your distro, I tend to buy what I drink but post an ISO for Everett and I don't see it being a problem.

when ordering the first time . . or second
    mumbling the name
cause I really have no idea if I'm pronouncing it right

    Achel
    De Dolle Oerbier
    Seizoen
    Pissenlit
    Struise Tsjeeses

    it's easy to understand
someone who pronounces those wrong while feeling confident they're right

others you can confidently pronounce you've no idea
    Cuvee D'Erpigny
    Koerseklakske
    't Smisje BBBourgondier
(not that you'd order those often)
    cheers
    jd

Only 'rare' beers I've had so far are Sucaba, Parabola and White Rajah - and they're not exactly 'rare', either.

Also, Yuengling is the shizz when you're fishing on a hot day.

That's ok, because The Beer Formally Known as Abacus and Parabola are way better than almost all their 'rare' counterparts.

And in Chicago it's pretty easy to find Framboos but pretty hard to find Zombie Dust.

I've been a geek for years, but still have never gotten around to Belgian styles to any degree. I'm a sour noob and will probably stay that way, the only thing I could possible discuss without embarrassing myself would be IPA'S and DIPA's.

Not a big fan of sours yet. There's a few that I like, but most are alright. Which with the price tag of most of them means I rarely buy them.

Drink 3 good ones in a row, with a good cheese that matches what beer you picked, that helped me. Of course I was in Brugge at the time. ahh what a good year that was.

Heh, I'm basically the same way.

I've started to get a lot more into stouts over the past year or so, but overall still feel rather noobish in that area as well.
