For those heading to Draai laag, front parking lot open or the back lot at maxs is good to go, spoke to Dennis and he worked it out with free additional parking in the lot there as the usual lot and street. getting thirsty here

Has anyone seen a list for Voodoo's block party yet? I'll be going regardless but hadn't seen them post. Maybe it could be not raining for a change.

 

Not sure didn't see anything yet. Good news is H2P is on tap at Meadville super excited about that. Had one in Homestead Saturday so good.

 

How the F is big hop harvest (cask) on tap at fatheads?

Did someone have an early hop harvest? I know my hops don't have that much lupulin on them yet.

 

Curt told me that the newest batch of H2P was kegged this past Friday. Damn.

...meanwhile, back at the ranch.

 

I was at Draai Laag tonight and was glad to see it packed with people. The new space is a place that I really want to hang out and definately will more often. As some of you know, I've a big sour head for a long time and I think that Draai Laag can be something special give time and support. It was very nice to see Dennis and Mike out talking about Draai Laag beer. I had the Wild Angles for the first time tonight and think that is very solid sour that I could drink on a regular basis.

 

I've had a few but much appreciated as always Randy, it really means a lot everything you do for the Pittsburgh scene. I am trying to be out and about every night if I can this weekend. more wild angels should last through tomorrow according to what I've heard. no signs of a briar tapping eminent but if it happens it should be posted here. I agree as a pre Mr. Smalls or after work stop it's ideal. they finished the final touches 4 hour prior to opening according to the architect/builder guy.

 

Well it was dammed good at homestead Saturday and I plan to drink a ton tomorrow in Meadville. I know we always have good vibes, which I enjoy but that H2P is delicious and a treat for us up here

 

I want to try the voodoo pbboc. sounds wonderful, coffee and peanut things are both flavors that work. on a separate tangent, has Peanut Butter Bock style beer ever been attempted? sounds like a project for someone

 

once Draai Laag finishes the rebranding process his and a few other GE should be pretty well stocked. meant to add this to my response to Randy.

Drinking a Shubrew Boot Camp atm courtesy of @shuggy. Fairly balanced with a really nice body. A hair too malty with a little less hop punch than I care to see but overall, I'm nitpicking. Pretty good DIPA if not a little old school in execution.
