    I love the hints, makes for a fun time trying to figure them out. I had a feeling on the mekong. All the others. ..no clue. I'll think on this one some. ..

    Day 6 of 12.

    2 Tyranena brews.

    First was an imperial black ale. solid beer. hard to follow up blakkr

    the second was a double oatmeal stout in rye barrels. sweetness covers up the alcohol. great barrel character. would recommend. and the name is pretty awesome.

    Got this as an extra a while ago, honestly can't remember where from. Hopefully no one here, lol. I put it in the fridge and decided to crack it tonight. As I was opening I noticed it was a 2012. Man this is delicious!

    Sorry ya'll, especially @Mipper, I missed last night. Wife worked late, I was on kid duty, and felt like ass. Then got pummeled with rain and had to dig a hole in my yard to drop in a sump pump to keep my garage from flooding, at 10pm...

    Anyway, I'll make up yesterday tomorrow night when I'm brewing with a buddy, expect a few VBS!


    Tonight though... Saw the cap, had to grab the glassware.

    Pretty sure @campa86 sent me the glass from the birthday bif, and one of these bottles I hadn't opened yet! It was a very good beer, so I'm sure I'll be opening the one in my cellar before summer is done.

    Crap. Adds that to box 3 list. I like that brewery a ton, and generally trust them. But this isn't the first.

    Had my first BN just a couple months ago with friends, so I'm thrilled to have this one all to myself. Really great straight forward BA stout, complex flavors and everything it's cracked up to be.

    Glad you are enjoying it. Saw it on your wish list, tracked one down, then saw in the meantime on Untappd you had tried it. Saw you gave it a 5 so I figured I'd roll with it.

    No worries! The most important thing to me is that you like the beer!
    Sorry if I cam on too strong earlier, it wasn't directed at anyone in particular. I know real life happens and I certainly know that firsthand :grinning:, i just love seeing all of these bottles and cans!!!

    It kinda does narrow it down, from "all the beers" allllllll the way down to just 150 of them. :sunglasses:

    Was enjoying the sours and smaller format high ABV stouts, but I guess @NickyPogs wasn't going to let me off too easy. This one should have me feeling nice and toasty. It'll be my first time having a beer from Voodoo though I've heard a lot about them.

    Day 6 - So, I have been drinking quite a bit with a buddy today and don't think I would appreciate the brews @whyteboy003 had in store for me. I will save them for tomorrow and catch up on my days. I had Gourd Almighty before but never Seasonal Creep. They should make for a great evening. Cheers!
