Unfortunately not. I will be making a trip down to SF with a couple bottles to open at random spots if you guys want to meet up. Will probably be in August.

I also have some (my) bottles going out to the midwest to some friends at a variety of breweries, they will be reviewing them as soon as they receive them.

All cases have gone out as of today. If you guys aren't doing anything try to make it out to Iron Pig Alehouse in Pacific Beach (SD). They may be receiving a case.

I know you mentioned some bottle shops/liquor stores earlier, but (if you're allowed to say) are any local bars getting some?

I'm all for CA trade values returning to something fair but... Second time he's posted that and I'm amazed he hasn't been laughed away from trading.

What an odd comment. Are you being ironic?

Southern California is home to some of the best breweries in the country. SoCal beers have been creating "positive buzz" for longer than BeerAdvocate has been around. I know folks are happy (?) that this particular insta-whale is creating shit storms in the trading forum, but you shouldn't lose sight of the fact that you are surrounded by incredible beer that historically has traded very well.

    So much this ^^^
I'm starting to realize more and more how much less I need to trade for beers outside of CA. We truly are spoiled with the selection we have here locally....in all of CA.

Yeah, Cali is pretty light on big hyped stouts but lets not act like we don't have some big beers over here.

Kinda bugs me how most Californians throw around veritas like a cheap hooker.

There. Glad I got that off my chest.

This is kinda what the uproar earlier in this thread was about, and is the reason why some folks have taken it upon themselves to overhype releases.

It's pretty obvious that we have amazing beer made right here, CA is probably the best state for beer imho. That is why we have so many choices. 100% of the beer clubs I am personally singed up for are from CA.
Four of you guys, who posted above clearly missed the point. I was talking strictly about looking at craft beer from a trader's standpoint. Last few months (years?) of everybody complaining (for example) about the Bruery beers trading well below $4$ etc etc. Of course, there are others, who do well on trading boards (SARA, LA, Alpine etc), but I just felt that this was one of those releases, that not many people expected to grow that big.
Anyway, it's not like trading is more important than drinking, it was just my $0.02 about it.
