WTF is going on with these shipping companies? Every time I see an exception I think of this

 

Man that sucks! That was gonna be the highlight of my day. I wonder if that box will get back to you before or after the box I sent yesterday?

I just got my first damaged exception too this week. Made it to Charlotte...Damaged handling per shipper's instructions (I wasn't contacted for any) the next scan was back to Kentucky so I suppose it is coming back to me as well.

Anybody know what the brewery is looking for a head brewer in the HBG area, it's a 20HL brew house.. Similar to pizza boy

From what I've been told Al sold his brewing equipment to the people that own Brewhouse Grill. Supposedly they are going to be opening a brewery in Mechanicsburg. Not sure if that's them looking for a brewer or not.

I also was just told this weekend that there's someone from Liverpool opening a brewery in the Camp Hill area that will be focusing on Wild/Sour beer.

Well, I will get it back out to you...I'm thinking I may need to send you another Pliny next time we get it though...it's getting older every day

 

understatement of the year award. a month or two ago, nick, jeff, and i visited some breweries in the lancaster, pa area. first stop was at this awesome place called bubes (pronounced boobies, not joking) brewery. unfortunately we didnt see any boobies, but we ordered a pint and after a few minutes, the brewer comes up and just starts talking to us (note: nick). come to find out the brewer owns a homebrew store nearby that nick knows, then they get to talking about who knows who, different breweries/brewers that ive never heard of, and nick knew every single person and every single place the guy was talking about. it was insane. then they start talking about different brews and customers that visit his store, nick knows them all and has tried all the beers. jeff and i are sitting there listening/watching this whole exchange in bewilderment.

i just got this weird feeling of deja vu, so if i told this story before, im not sorry.

 

And then you started breaking things and @zekeman17 started sticking things in his beard.......

Now I KNOW I have heard THAT story before........

Well shit. A friend of mine actually has/had some fairly fresh Pliny (from early June I believe) and I was going to get a bottle from him to stick in the box I sent @JNForsyth , but thought his Pliny needs were covered (with fresher Pliny than I have access to)

 

By the way, I can't resist... 800 pages!

And I purposely waited until I was pretty sure nobody can delete earlier ones and screw up the count.

 

I'll get him taken care of--we get it once a month. I just feel bad because this bottle is likely from the same or similar batch as yours was, but by the time it gets back to me and gets sent BACK out to PA, it'll be well over a month old

 

A friend of mine goes out to California a couple times a year, last couple times another friend has had him send back a case of Pliny... Not the best hookup, but it'll do.
