NBO - 12 Days of Summer BIF

I think your beer for tomorrow is a 12 oz. very easy drinking.

 

Working from home today so that means Day 7 starts at noon.



Again, @Dave_Treat giving me some proper glassware. 2nd Anniversary from them. This is really fucking good. Also 14.5% (doesn't drink like it). Let's see how much work I can get done now.

 

I know that this is probably sacrilegious but I prefer Mastermind over Heady.

 

Im pretty open minded as I tried to keep the smaller bottles during the work week. The challenge is figuring out what your sender might like, and hope they like, than figure out which days to put those beers, thinking about is the beer a solo beer or a group beer, good for a work night or better for a weekend. A lot going on when you these kinds of packages for 12 days. At the same time I would never fault for you saying I don't want to drink this today I want to save this beer for this weekend when I share with my friends or family. Thats why I put in a few extras to give you the option of a swap out for an extra.

After weighing my suitcase at 51.7 pounds without my day 7 beer I decided to open it instead. Thanks @dmbforever


An almost perfect nose, funky and sweet. The initial taste is awesome. Pure grapey goodness. The finish has a touch of an undesirable flavor, almost blue cheese-esque. Still a great beer, had been wanting to try some of their sour offerings.

I'm bringing the next three days on the road with me to share in the Ill.

 

I must admit I don't recognize the label, what brewery is that?

EDIT: err... Just should have not been lazy... Funk Factory/O'so I've heard great things! Glad you liked it that's the most purple I've seen a grape beer

 

I can overnight some from VT on Wednesday/Thursday next week, if that would be OK with you?

This might be the toughest "get" for me. Sales are at 11am on Saturday, right before the beer fest. Burlington is going to be MOBBED with beer tourists, and I'd assume I'll have to be there by 9am or so. That means skipping any morning group activities which may not go over well with the gf. I'm going to work on it over the next week and see what I can swing. If I get a case I'll let you know!

Alright @jschott75 - since FedEx ruined the surprise to notifications. It took me a little while to trade for a couple more brews I wanted you to try, and while I couldn't get them wrapped up for the 12 days (travel), I still wanted you to have them.

Alright @mklisz, because I'm going out drinking with Tertullian tonight I won't be able to drink your 12 days bottle, but it's good because I peeked and it's a bottle my friend has been searching out so I think it's proper to share it with him. Is this ok with you Mike?
