Only one Pre-trade for Peanut Butter Breakfast of Champions. We are failing as a local beer drinking group, we should be pre-trading all our limited stuff immediately!!!

I really enjoyed 4 Calling and 6 Geese. 5 Golden had a fake pineapple flavor but i didn't hate it. 7 Swans biggest flaw was that it was so boring and will do absolutely nothing in the bottle.

I haven't tried 7 yet, 6 was solid. Yeah 5 I didn't hate but it very artificial tasting. Didn't have any of the others fresh, but I do have the vertical going strong, so here's to 2018 haha

Where you able to get 1-3? I have seen 3 one time and was an idiot and didn't buy it.

I was at a Bruery event down in Florida and the rep that was there had been with them since the beginning. He told me that he was worried about the the first 3 because it was on their original system and really didn't think they would hold up. Hahaha, I am still curious. I have seen a vertical on MyCraftBeerCellar before but it was silly expensive. My 4-7 is a good start for my 9 days of Xmas verticle when it completes.

Now, if we get it and we don't like it, are we going to be allowed to trade the second four pack?

It would be a cold day in hell the day I give The Bruery a penny. I refuse to support a company that charges the prices they do on every single beer they produce.

A lot of California's beers are priced so high (The Bruery, The Lost Abbey, AleSmith, Port Brewing's limited releases, etc).

I'm not too big a fan of The Bruery's stouts, as I find the majority of them to be a little too syrupy and sweet for my taste. That said, their Wineification beers are still among the most pleasant surprises I've ever had with a beer.

Wootstout has also landed at GE settlers ridge for anyone on this side of town you can save yourself a trip. About 9 bottles left after I picked up mine

Yes they are. But not every single beer in their line up is $20+ a magnum like The Bruery. I've seen Port bombers for $7-8. I remember seeing a bottle of Alesmith IPA in California for something around the same price. No one has seen a Bruery bottle for that price.

I was just about to say, well I guess you can support Lost Abbey either.

To be fair, the prices are really inflated for a lot of west coast breweries that ship here.

As far as stouts from them I will drink Chocolate Rain and Mocha Wednesday all day if I could, i'd just be in a drunk haze all the time. But yeah, they are usually share bottles because they do get really sweet really fast

I don't think $10.99 for their standards is "expensive". That is the price out west for a lot of them.

    True.

Yeah, they are best drank in smaller quantities.

To expand on this further, paying less than $1 an oz for Tart of Darkness is well in line with being reasonable.

Hottenroth, Mischief, Autumn Maple, Trade Winds, Rugbrod all come in at the $9-12 which is nice. A few bottles are in the $15 range.

Hey @randylangford have you heard if the market is getting Ballast Point - Calm Before The Storm? I have drank my weight in Victory At Sea from your store and I might as well just get fatter.

I love Black Tuesday and Grey Monday. Both are worth every penny IMO. Hottenroth is my favorite Berliner as well.

Wasn't Gratitude $17 for 22oz bottle? Seems pretty in line with Bruery prices to me.

Their BA stuff is expensive but the rest are pretty in line with everyone else. Hottenroth is only $9 retail and its amazing.

But you guys probably didn't buy any Gratitude or BA Grat to trade or anything because you hate Scott Smith's arrogance and business practices right
