    Agitating day today. The things we do for money, right? Starting big tonight. Nice apricot taste in this one, nice balance of juice and malt for the high abv.

    Friend went to St Louis I gave her a great list of "wants ". She knows nothing about beer and picked me up 26 singles of meh beer. Wish I ticked as I'd at least be able to up the totals Hopefully I'll find something good in this pile. [​IMG]

    White Birch Brewing of New Hampshire turned 6 years old this week. They have a weekend open house. I picked up their 6th Anniversary on tap but until I crak that open - I'm drinking one of my favorites from them. Their Tavern Ale. Chocolate and smoke.

    1975. David Bedford (died 2011) from the UK. Features the imitable guitar work of Mike Oldfield. "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" theme. Stunningly beautiful music.

    Since I am on my Townes high, this is a joke he would always say between sets...

    Two drunk guys walk out of a bar after closing, and look up at the sky.
    They argue over wether or not the moon or sun is up.
    Another guy walks by, and they ask
    Drunks: "Hey man, can you help us out, we are trying to figure if that is the moon or the sun?"
    Other Guy: "Oh I don't know, I'm not from around here." :grinning:

    That's a nice brew there, I've liked most of the White Birch brews I've tried but haven't seen any new ones around here lately.
