I think the tickets said $25. so a beer ~5, bbq sandwich and side ~$6\8\10, +/- $10 towards fire department, live music, fireworks, etc...

But let's bitch bc pappy black magick isn't on the tap list or anything barrel aged. Don't people like doing things for good causes anymore with out wanting something in return ?

East end always pisses me off that they don't pour gratitude at the keg pull bike event each year. That's not worth my money either

IT'S A NORMAL FUCKING LINE UP. Calm down, asshole.

It has nothing to do with pouring rare beer. It has everything to do with doing nothing different than the norm.

Nothing different ? Live music, free food, fireworks?

it's not a beer event it's a fundraiser. Who cares what the beer line up is. You get a free beer food and music with your DONATION

You act like In order to be worth admission they need to pour something different (which I read as special)

We should really change the topic to Pittsburgh Beer and Brewery bitch fest, where breweries In the burg can't do anything to satisfy the locals.

    Ha.

I just thought about that. I just don't understand the entitlement that people have. Yes there is an admission. It's a freaking fundraising block party where you get a free beer and food in return. Why does the tap list have to be something special or different To justify that.

Am I crazy and the only one who thinks this way??? Anyone????

No...not in the context of craft beer...

Hey...side question for @voodoobrewery ...thanks for the extra brew, but between you and me...do you think there's really something wrong with blackbeard? C'mon...be honest. I wouldn't admit defeat if I were you. Drinking it now and it's tasty. Definitely no infection at all...just massive rum barrel influence on the nose and people don't seem to want that shit in their beer. FYI...good on you, I'll be there to pick up my beer, but you shouldn't have done it. There's nothing wrong with blackbeard at all other than its not a big fucking ba stout.

Anyone who has blackbeard left and is looking to trade for pb boc, let me know.

Also, yeah I'm a meadville voodoo homer, but I'd be saying the same thing and defending this if it were east end, church, bg, etc.

It doesn't have to be a crazy taplist. I'd be there in a second if my schedule permitted and I was a little closer. Good cause, good event...

Once one expert reports off flavors on the internet, everyone can taste them :-)

This is definitely not acetaldehyde. I'm not trained or anything, but I know my off tastes. This is intentional. It would be legit maybe to question the barrel used as it pertains to your tastes...maybe. But in no way is this infected.

Well you read it on the internet, brother...must be true.

Still...point being, voodoo has to know this beer is fine and still offered up more beer for the people complaining. That's something crazy to me. Customer service in its truest form.
