I split my barrel room allotment with a buddy in Delaware and he's not interested in the PB BoC so I have several extras. If anyone wants to try it and won't get a chance to get some, PM me and we'll figure out something for you to get a bottle or two.

Makes that admission price to the party sound even better now doesn't it?? Bonus - buy the extra 4 pack with admission to party

Also got to try Voodoo's new IPA with a stupidly long name that I'm not going to look up or type out. I don't think I've ever had a beer where there was such a disparity between the aroma and the flavor. The nose was outstanding but the flavor fell very flat. Was disappointed.

I didn't take notes, but from memory I think the name is American Red Anniversary Birthday White Super Happy Blue Fun Time 29.

I must have been sitting there while a couple of you guys stopped in. I was the one that brought an infant to a bar. Say hi next time!

Peanut Butter BOC is tasty. I'm pretty sure regular BOC is my favorite beer on at Voodoo in the past few months, although Moar Tropic is also very tasty.

Just went to MD Watersports in Aspinwall for the virgin run. Noticably smaller selection than Shadyside & Robinson, but much better vibe in the café/beer area.
Didnt see any Kölsch of any kind unfortunately.

Wow. That went quick. You had to figure 60 people per location could buy an extra 4 pack. Crazy fast.

I was there with my wife and dog. He was getting antsy and starting to be a shit so we took off. I'm assuming you were playing with Ben?

Not quite sure what that's supposed to mean but I've been disappointed by plenty. I just generally don't post about it here.

If I remember correctly, a Barrel Aged Maple Bacon stout. And my friend told me its supposed to be the biggest ABV beer Voodoo has made.

    But this is all hearsay.

I believe there is honey in there as well, hence the bear.

Yeah I could be mixing up the maple for honey. Bears like maple syrup too right? I don't know shit about bears.

    Maple is the man
    Honey is the bear
    Bacon is the pig

    I think...

But no, in order to actually get syrup, you have to boil the shit out of a fuckton of maple "water" to get it down to syrup. It's a process that takes hours of boiling. Syrup isn't readily available in nature.

    Maybe its:

    Beard Yeast (man)
    Bees (bear)
    Chipped Ham (pig)

30-35 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup. I make 8-10 gallons of syrup with my dad every year

SAP! That was the word I couldn't think of, hence why I put water in quotes. A friend of my father's make his own and it's incredible. Super long process though.

Look for the Straub's summer variety case or 12pack. Don't think they are releasing it in 6 packs.

PBBoC: Take every peanut-butter porter you've ever had, take off some body and add a tinge of coffee. That said, its pretty good for free beer. I'm chilling another bottle to press on some more coffee and raspberries. #PB&JBoC
