Cuir tapped in Chicago today

    Regular not the 100%. Bad Apple in Chicago has it. I believe it's 6oz for $8. Wasn't sure if this was worthy of its own thread but I've never seen it tapped here before, and maybe never again.

    I thought it was ALL (100%) barrel Aged this year, no?

    It appears that Cuir is on tap (last years anniversary blend), not this years Fruet which apparently was only released in 100% barrel aged format.

    I believe Gonzoillni is correct, for this tap anyway. They listed it was the regular Cuir anyway. I havent had the 100% but it didn't taste 3% stronger. However, it was unbelievable drinkable and smooth at 14.5%! Thats a dangerous drink

    Had it yesterday at Bad Apple. It was really tasty but probably not the best idea to drink it before eating anything all day.

    DUH. I'm an idiot. For some reason was thinking Cuir was this year's release.... is it too late to blame the beers I had drank before posting that reply???

    Had a bottle last night with some friends and wasn't a fan. Bug Worcestershire taste. I will never buy or try the regular Cuir again. 100% Cuir now that was tasty though!

    I too thought the BA version was worlds ahead of the regular version. I'd kill to get another bottle of the BA version.

    Had a old ale tasting last night. BA Cuir, Cuir, Coton, Fruet, BA4D.

    My order, Fruet, BA Cuir, BA4D, Coton, Cuir

    Fruet by far the best!
