Spent $390 for 3 cases of BBPt5. So there's that.

In 2012 I drove to California via Colorado for a hiking trip and between the bottle shops in Cali and Denver I know I dropped over $500 combined. I was a noob and made every rookie mistake imaginable including buying a lot of malt bomb IPAs.

    Didn't say that.

I certainly spend a lot of beer, definitely way too much. But the dickswing nature of this thread is kind of unpleasant.

Do those places normally have Heady? Taking a road trip in August...

I feel like everyone's got Heady in northern VT. If you're looking for cases I think that Vermont Beverage Warehouse sells them on Thursdays until they're gone. Check their FB.

    1. Maybe $45, and that even seems a touch high

*edit - If I break up my purchases over a few days I tend to feel less "naughty"

Probably around $300 when I went to Treehouse, then hit MBC for Dinner. Also stopped at Aeronaut, Night Shift (my brother bought beer there) and Trillium.

Will hopefully head to HF at the end of the month. Planning on staying around $100 and then other purchases while up there (Heady, hopefully SOS, etc.).

A full case of Bourbon County Rare at a cost of a little over 500 bucks.

Honorable mention goes to my visit to Hill Farmstead last summer; that was around 400 bucks for everything.

A few years back when I was first getting into craft, I used to hit places like State Line Liquors and Capones for $200-300 at least once or twice a month. With all of the local releases and societies nowadays, I never get the chance to do that anymore.

Sadly it was not Deconinck... I've heard good things about that place. I've stopped at a variety of warehouses over all the trips... Brasserie Vanuxeem was probably the most common

    Not sure I get it.
A wife would have more "power" to veto a purchase than someones girlfriend.
    My wife loves beer.
