Only blacked out twice in my life, once in my reckless 20s and that night, oh wait the 3rd time was the Mocha Wednesday in VA.

 

Long story alert, I repeat long story alert.

After spending an awesome weekend+ in the Chicagoland area I started making plans for my return trip home. Knowing I was headed back to BWI I reached out to @heystevec to see if we could do lunch.

Part of me getting the extended weekend was my sister-in-law wanted me to grab a cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory (CF). I asked Steve if we could meet near a CF and told him the reason. He asks why I didn't ask him for a cheesecake. His family owns a bakery that's been in business nearly 90 years!

Well you see when it comes to cheesecake my sister-in-law is like @LehighAce06 when it comes to Zombie Dust. She only wants CF. I did tell him that I'd happily take one (I meant buy one) and have her do a side-by-side. We meet at a fantastic BBQ joint and had a great lunch.

Well Steve not only brought a cheesecake for my sister-in-law he brought TWO:

So, it was awesome getting to hang out with @PA-Michigander the last few days while he was in town. Nick had to sneak out early today to catch his 7:20 flight and of course, this is what I woke up to this morning when I opened my fridge


In true ninja fashion, drops some beer and makes a run for it. That dude is just awesome. MI guys, expect some of this being shared your way when I come to town.

 

Great meeting and droning with @PA-Michigander while he was here! Forced a crowler on me as well on my way out, lol!

 

Any food other than yogurt in that fridge??

You can't see, but there is some string cheese, butter, ketchup, and a bag of salad mix in there.

 

I'm sure the pantry is full of protein powder and creatine

yes - however we really don't have a store front. We have been lucky enough to pretty much turn into a wholesale bakery that is foodservice industry supplier. We are in hotels, banquet facilities, and even diners now in Philly! But people like to pass it off as their own ... if you come down let me know and maybe we can set up an IP cheesecake trade.

what's the ++ ? these cheesecakes are super low cake count releases. but they do hit distro ...

Time for my Doggy DNA LIF!

As I have mentioned before, we recently had our mixed breed, rescue dog’s DNA tested to find out his breed make-up. The initial test was inconclusive, but they offered to run a second test and this time we got some results. The results gave us 5 specific breeds, the other 3 were too mixed and thus indeterminate.
