agree on the CS - It's a nice bottle, but the thinness and carbonation place it in a different categore vs BCBS and Bells
Just had my first Black Note - 2012, tasted fresh, bold and can easily store it a few more years IMHO

I agree to agree with you. Interesting poll, as I've had most on the list, but never side by side. I remember the first time I had Central Waters Brewer's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout, and my first impression was that I'd love to do a side by side with Bourbon County, because I thought it was every bit as tasty, if slightly thinner. I actually have both in the basement (think I have a couple 4 packs of the CW), so I could do it now, but I'll probably wait for a bottle share so I can include some others like OP did.

I like where your head is at...the only problem with doing central waters bbs and bourbon county side by side if you do a blind taste test is that you will be able to tell which is which just by looking at them

OP here- I actually agree with a lot of you, as Central Waters placed 4th out of the 7 on my personal score card (behind BB Pt5, BCBS, and BA Siberian Night, in that order), but enough other people ranked it high enouigh that it still won overall.

Black Note- interesting to see others here chiming in that they've also done blinds and ranked it last or close to last. In our tasting, it easily had the worst nose, near the bottom in mouthfeel and carbonation, and to me, the flavor was average at best. But to each their own, nothing I would really argue over. Those were just my notes on it.

Black note on tap is phenomenal
Not sure why the bottles can't follow suit
