Agreed. I think it is a perfect stout for people who really don't care for stouts and for stoutheads like myself. If that makes any sense?

I guess your wife is just gonna have to let you out of the cage or something. Free beer is at stake, after all.

@ 5%, the beer can't have much body. It defeats the purpose of a 5% beer.

"Too thin" is my new biggest beer pet peeve. Everyone wants every single beer regardless of style to be as thick as BC stuff.

I think too you can't drink it straight from the fridge and let it warm a bit to smooth it out. As far as thin, I didn't think it was thin for a 5% beer.

My biggest pet peeve is when people throw around the word "adjunct" like they just discovered it on a marble slab on some forgotten island. Also when they say "Well yeah this stout is very good, but you have to remember its an ADJUNCT stout." like that somehow means it is a lesser version of itself or cannot be taken seriously compared to other stouts. Rant over.

What's an adjunct stout? Like a rye or wheat stout?

I am really happy to see GE Waterworks really pushing the Craft Beer market. While I am not a huge GF fan, this is a cool event to expose more people to craft beer.
