I assume a 1200 gallon batch would be limited to brewery only?

Can't wait to try it. For those who have had both Oro Negro and Dire Wolf Canis Mexicanus, are they fairly comparable?

It should see distro, twice as much as vanilla bean coffee bean, if that helps quantify it at all.

Pretty close, but I give the edge to Oro Negro. My first glass of the stuff reminded me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch in a glass. The flavors are awesome and the heat is just right. Can't wait to load up on bottles of this!

I'll be traveling through the Cincinnati area tomorrow morning. Is there any chance of finding some barrel aged Jackie O's stouts or brick kiln or are they seasonal?

Hey welcome, we were in Stouts IV together.

I believe Cappy's in Loveland has some BB Brick Kiln, Brick Kiln and maybe still dark app (shows he has it on tap now for pints and growler fills). Doubt there is any BB Aphro still around that tends to go quickly.

BB kiln is the most likely to find. You may stumble on to more but don't count on it

Ba wood ya honey should be around as well. At least it is up north

As mentioned above, you could pretty easily find BBA Brick Kiln and Brick Kiln. Dark Apparition (non-BA) is also quite easy to find. I even see them at some Kroger stores from time to time. BA Wood Ya Honey has been much more sparse lately after hanging out on some shelves for a couple weeks.

Chances you find any Oil or BA Oil is slim to none unless you get lucky with a store receiving a shipment when you are in town. They go within 24 hours at the more visible bottle shops. Your best bet would be trying to set up a trade.

Thanks for the info. I was able to get brick kiln, bb brick kiln and bb dark apparition. I also picked up a 4 pack of bb Siberian night. I loved them all and might make a stop on my way back to WI to get some more.

The labels are printing in the 22nd, package a few days afterwards. There will be a good amount at the tap room so that weekend will be good for coming into town.

Any word on the price and bottle limit?

I would assume it will be just like their other Ba stouts with 6 bottle limits

Oro Negro isn't barrel aged though. So I'm assuming the standard $6 for non-BA bottles and limits pending the yield.

Will we have to go to the taproom to get a couple bottles or will this see distribution in other parts of Ohio? I apologize for my ignorance I've never tracked down a release from JO before.

The answer on distribution is 15 posts above your own
