    I checked your message, the second I received it, without opening it mind you. You stated when I calm down to contact you and see how you can make things right.

    1) I have not calmed down

    2) I am merely returning the favour of poor communication (the demeanor of a petulant child, I know, but I feel like I should be allowed one or two at this point)

    3) Great Odin's raven...what do you expect to be able to do to make this right/make it all go away? Toss me a few bottles of Jai Alai and everything's aces? No. You tried going all tea leaf and got the Barney Rubble.

    If I were you, I'd quietly go about my business, make good on my current obligations, learn from this and do everything you can to be a good trader in the future. Continuing to prolong this thread won't do you any good, sometimes people aren't interested in anything you have to say, they're interested in a pound of flesh. Not directed at anyone, just an observation. Continuing to feed the thread won't help you.

    So, just an update. As of Wednesday 7/15 the box has not left Memphis, TN. Hmmm...

    Edit: Spoke with Fedex, they seem to think it's vanished...so...yeah.

    I just texted you sir, I spoke with FedEx. Apparently the label came of, or something like that. They want a description of the contents, just do what I told you in the text and she will help you file a claims report and you will get your shipping fee back + insurance up to $100.

    Anyways, yeah, certainly didn't forget to scan it considering it's been in memphis for almost a week now. Package lost.

    Just follow what I texted you and FedEx won't have a breach of policy issue.

    Damnit dude, you gave me a land line, not a cell, so so much for that text I sent you. So, ya, hopefully you see this before they call you. Damnit.

    Alright, so, I stated to not know what was in the box (used "it's a birthday gift so I don't know what's in it"). I stated that you were basically the middle man and may not know what was in it either as a friend of mine was trying to save on shipping cost. So, state to not know what was in it, or, something other than beer or glass. Shit, a binder of sports cards/collectables. She'll help you with the claims report, you'll get your shipping cost back and the value of the box (whatever you tell her it's worth).

    If you admit, or state there was alcohol in there...that would be a rather poor decision for you to make.

    I have personally never had it happen to me (I put a strip of tape over the plastic slip so the label cannot be removed or tampered with or 'fall out'), though I have heard of it happening to others before. Certainly not common. My immediate assumption (as I've been doing this for a while) is the box was damaged and FedEx is going to try and cover their ass so they don't have to pay out insurance. So, we'll see.

    Anyone want to bet on whether or not they 'somehow' find out it's alcohol and my account gets black listed? Feel like that's the way this whole ordeal is going.
