Then you might find it difficult to believe my quadruple inverted kegs that contain 4oz of hops in fine mesh nylon hop bags don't have a problem with hop mung or yeast.

Basically, I get no hop particles in my beer. The only kegged beer I waste is the first 8-12oz of a keg that has been cold carbonated for 7-10 days. The wasted pour contains more yeast than I'd care to drink and maybe a pinch of hop dust. The second pour the next day is drinkable beer without hop dust.

I don't transfer to another keg or filter. I remove the hop bags prior to cold carbonating. Whatever aroma is lost from the head space isn't missed in the final product. Whatever oxygen is introduced in the 30 seconds it takes me to remove the hops, then purge with CO2 isn't something that has a meaningful negative impact during the 30-45 day life of the beer.

Same for me, and I don't invert...so I guess there is more than 1 way that it will work...but I would never think of QUADRUPLE inverting. : )

Sometimes I only TRIPLE invert and note the extent of inversion in bold letters on the keg.
