Your Favorite Beer Drinking Game?

Kings > Asshole > Beirut > Flip Cup. God help me if I can remember how to play any of these games anymore, or if I could do it with the beers I drink nowadays vs a decade + ago.

 

I'm 63 and have nevered played a beer drinking game. I prefer to enjoy my beer and that doesn't seem to fit. I get plenty "full" just sitting back and sipping. Enjoy to all who partake in the games.

 

Back in college, in the late 60s (damn, that sounds like a long time ago) my fraternity (DKE) played beer ball. It was softball with the provision that you drank a sip of beer before any move. The pitcher would be drunk early on, because he was drinking every time he threw the ball. If you forgot to take your sip, you had to drink the rest of your cup before continuing. As best as I can remember, we had a great time!

Checkers with shot glasses. Every time you jumped opponent you took shot. 2 shots if you got a king. We were pretty drunk. Woke up the next deal and realized that we filled them with everclear.

 

Me and three friends created our own in college. God it ended up terribly. It started out so innocent...so fun...and ended up with my friend getting pushed into the breakfast bar over who got to dunk a rubber ball into a laundry basket. I think I still have the rules around here somewhere...Oh god I found it. Enjoy...


Game of Balls Rules

1. You cannot say anyone’s name
2. If you didn’t get the starting highest role…you drink
3. If you participate in a game...you drink.
4. Loser drinks again
5. No cursing
6. No pointing
7. Have to drink with non-dominant hand
8. Mark has to drink an alcoholic beverage, he can't be a *****.
9. Up Words forms the game board
10. First one to the end of the board wins nothing but pride and respect.
11. Disobeying ANY rule results in the rolling of one six-sided dice...also you must drink.
    1. (1) Squirting water onto the crotch of the offender
    2. (2) Ice cubes will be placed in a bag and inserted into the offenders pants
    3. (3) You must complete 25 before rejoining the game
    4. (4) You cannot drink with you hands for the remainder of the turn
    5. (5) *Stand in the snow for 10 seconds without socks/shoes
    6. (5) You must place an empty bottle in your pants through the zipper and walk around the building once
    7. (6) You must wear your pants on your head for the remainder of the hour

i. One player may call out the number of the dice

1. If correct: The person may choose a fate for the other competitors.

2. If incorrect, the person who called the incorrect die will receive two fates of choosing from the other players.


Game Description

1. Stand up corn hull (The cornhull board is standing up against a wall)
   1. Corn hull…standing up…three bags in wins
2. Get it in the hole (Putting golf balls into a cup from increasing distances as the game progresses)
   1. Best out of five wins
3. Sink to Sin (Each person has a glass. They must get mouthfuls of water from the sinks and transport them to fill the glass. They must return to the same sink each time for water. The glasses are located at the opposite players sink.)
   1. First to fill glass
4. Stamina Ping Pong (25 times) You must play ping pong whilst other players throw cards at you. Whoever loses the game, loses the round.
5. Tactical Testicular Tournament
   1. Two players must wait in a room while player 3 hides the basket & ball
   2. Ball must be in plain sight
   3. Player race to find the ball and score on the other player
   4. There are no further rules except score the ball
6. Saltine Challenge
   1. 6 Saltines in 60 seconds
   2. Minus 1 space per uneaten cracker

Quarters was the staple in my youth. We also played the Pass Out board game quite a bit. We went through metric buttloads of cheap macro that way. Sometimes if we were drunk enough we would play Beer Hunter - for those old enough to remember Bob and Doug McKenzie. That was a really long time ago...

We would play with beer normally, but if everyone was crashing at my house we would break out he jager from the freezer. I have had more fun playing this game, really fun when you have a mixed crowd, men always go for vulgar signs

 

Our version was every time someone said "Bob" you had to drink; for "Hi Bob" you had to chug...that was Morgantown in the '70's...
