I think many is a huge streach. I know everyone tastes are different but not enjoying the taste of a beer made with CTC does not make it a sub par product.

this, just because you (not you specifically @jlsims04) don't like the product, doesn't make that product "sub-par." i for one love adjuncty, saccharine bombs.

Really digging this batch from the cans. I hope it stays consistent. That's been my biggest gripe with Pipeworks IPAs. They're usually inconsistent in taste and aroma.

You are both taking that ONE off the cuff example way too specifically. And just because you use an unusual ingredient or try something totally wacky, doesn't mean it's good.

Pipeworks comes out with so many different beers all the time I was wondering if they ever tried to repeat a recipe and it didn't come out the same so they gave it a new name?

How long before Blood of a Unicorn is canned? Can't wait! Going to the Sox game August 6th and would love to have a 4 pack as part of my tailgate!

You can use any of their weird beers. I used CTC just as an example

    Hi All,

Typically there are 8 - 10 different bottles of their stuff on the shelves, now nothing. I don't know if it has to do w/ them expanding or what but it isn't easy to come by.

Live in Oswego, work in Schaumburg. Went to local Binny's, nothing.

Anyone know of places near either location or somewhere in between that has fresh Pipeworks on the shelves?

    Cheers,
    Scot

I picked up a 4 pack of NvU for 11.99 at Binny's yesterday. For the first time ever I can say that Pipeworks offers a fantastic product at a fair price.

The one on South Jefferson. They had a huge stack of four packs around 4pm yesterday and they almost always have a variety of bombers.

The Emporium event was cool. I won a tales from the oak snifter, which I am really happy about. Unfortunately, I have already consumed all of my BA Pipeworks beer, so I can't have a tale from the oak in my tale from the oak snifter.

NvU out of a can was worth the wait.

Your local binnys usually has 8-10 different pipeworks beers on the shelf????? Mine gets what ever the weeks releases are and they are always gone by the weekend.

I brew a lot of my own beer, so I don't venture to the beer store every week or multiple times a week (like I once did). I would say this was of 2 - 3 months prior and every time I did go before that.

I try to avoid Binny's for the most part and their allocations of Pipeworks absolutely suck these days even with an enforced bottle limit.

I used to enjoy buying Pipeworks at Foremost in Arlington Heights. But it would appear they have been pulled from distribution... Perhaps because of the pending ownership change...so looks like I'll soon be hitting Binny's to see if I can score one of the ten Ninja bottles the get in.with everyone else :-/

Cue up the comments from the clown thinking I want every Beer for myself again... But the point is I would rather support local small businesses and have some sort of leverage as a repeat customer.
