    Parents went down to Sonoma for a reunion. Brought me back a growler of Row 2, Hill 56 along with bottles of Blind Pig, Row 2, Pliny and some other random beers from along the way.

    They stopped in Bend and brought me back a growler of Crux's Outcast IPA. First time a Crux beer has made it to Washington state, apparently.

    Told my pops he wasn't allowed at my wedding unless he brought me a case of Alpine beer. He never lets me down.
    "I've seen how much beer you already have, I'm guessing you'll drink one or two of each and trade the rest. Before I leave town I'll give you a list of beers that I want in exchange. " crap.

    I've had this on tap now three times, glad to finally get my hands on some bottles

    I can honestly say this is the best beer that I've had so far this year......FW barrel aged beers > all the others....in my opinion

    It was worth the gamble. A 3 yr old IPA, I'm not expecting much but I'm a sucker for already aged beers especially ones that aren't brewed anymore.

    Just got back from a trip up to New Hampshire.

    Visited Throwback Brewery in Northampton and tried samples of the Maple Kissed Wheat Porter, Hopstruck Red IPA, and the Rhubarb Wit (which was just a phenomenal beer). Then hung out at Portsmouth Brewery and had the Thaizenheimer with Centennial hops on cask, several pints of the Berliner Weisse, and then a Hop Stoopid on tap. Then went to the cigar lounge next door and had some of the Dirty Blond Ale from a growler and then a bomber of the Hefeweizen and finally a White Birch Berliner Weisse (sucked). Damn good weekend for NH beer!

    The CL and Everett were from trades (thanks infi and CoolshipMike!) The growlette was of the Maple Kissed Wheat Porter (gone now)
