it's my favorite tasting room in LA. it's not the nicest, but the vibe there is always good

if a brewery like Smog City opened in Silver Lake i would never leave my neighborhood. ps, why doesn't someone open a brewery in Silver Lake?

Have to also agree. But I think the growler prices at Noble is worse. Especially on the premium beers. When BW first opened 4 years ago I thought the growler fills were high then. But now they are average to me. They even cut out the monthly $3 discount for colored growlers. But if they have good beers, people will keep filling them growers.

Has anyone seen Black Market's Tradecraft Cherry or Blackberry cans? I'm in Valencia.

A good question. I've been wondering when these were going to show up myself.

Re bottle prices... I'm gonna guess $9.99 for a 500mL

Seeing Racer 15 hit the shops the last few days. Picked up one. Big fan of Apex and Racer X. I'm guessing this will be just as good.

Sad because I'd rather not buy (what I feel) an inferior product for a significantly higher price than a bunch of other IPAs? I realize that I'm jaded, just see no reason to be that excited about bottles of this beer; now if it clocked in at a comperable price to say Swami's, then sure. The label is pretty great though.

Sadly, there isn't an LA area brewery that seems to be interested in providing a product at that price point. The closest would be Golden Road, but even they're not that cheap. If I'm not mistaken, Heal the Bay is $13 a 4-pack.

Well, you get what you pay for. those Trader Joe's GR contract brewed 4 packs are dirt cheap. But again, quantity over quality when it comes to those.

Agree, vendome always adds an extra buck or two with limited releases. I rather take the hit than cycle for two hours or drive for 30 or more mins from anaheim

Not as bad as it could be, unless you plan on picking multiples/growler fill/food. $1.50 is cheaper than making a trip all the way to LB. Especially with the spike of gas prices.

Good leftover anniversary stuff on tap and you can have a pour of the beer as well. What's 25 minutes? Should have picked up some bottles at the cellar dinner in SB last night. That was an amazing meal for a great price.
