For those that do love this brew, I urge you to stash some away for at least a year. It ages beautifully. Hops fade, but the SPRUCE rings through.

Thanks for the pro-tip. This is maybe my favorite beer period.

Not to steal any thunder from spruce pilsner, but I just saw Devil's Lettuce popped up on the release schedule!

So hoping Spruce makes it out this week.

    via Short's Facebook page:

"IT'S SPRUCE PILSNER DAY AT THE PUB!

Now available on tap and in bottles at the pub ONLY. Look for Spruce Pilsner on store shelves statewide by next week.
    "

    Looking like next week.

Getting some of this in a trade. Very excited to try it. More ticks on my "try every shorts beer" quest.

    Yes I know its a fool's errand.

I'm hoping to be able to pick up a few bottles when I'm home for Coast Guard Festival. Show some Oregonian's that their beer does not always reign supreme.

Great this year. Got a growler and a 6 pack from the brewery. The spruce is prominent early on, bigger body than I remember, but still awesome. 1/2 done with the growler already.

I think this will be the 4th year in my vertical. I would also endorse aging these.

Anybody know if it hit the Rochester area today, trying to help a buddy track it down?

Hit Champaines today. Along with W00tStout... Not to threadjack but they only got 12 bottles of w00t and by 10:15 this morning, I bought the last one. But they still had plenty of Spruce Pilsner, Neptune, and BBA Arrogant - 1 6pk, and 2 bottle limit
