I was there yesterday; all they had available was Scythe Rye IPA in cans and bottles.

 

Thanks! Looks like some of the local bottle shops might have some Bolo Coconut Brown in cans as well? Not sure if it will still be available on Thursday / Friday.

 

The brewery said their Bolo went really quick but I havent been in any of the local shops to see if they had any left. There was a huge beer crowd in town over the weekend for Funk Asheville/Burning Can/WW White Angel release, so I wouldn't be surprised if the supply got crushed. Good luck though- there are lots of other good options around so you shouldn't leave disappointed.

Don't forget the Beer Bloggers Conference as well. Yeah, tons of people in town last weekend. When I was at Burial on Saturday afternoon Bolo was already gone from the brewery.

 

Had a can of this yesterday that a friend got me on vacation. Do these cans get distributed at all?? Will be in virginia in a couple weeks for vacation.

This beer is amazing.

 

They self distribute to some places in NC. Nowhere else though.

 

Will be up in AVL this weekend. Any Skillet cans around?

Hmm, I was in Tasty Beverage Friday Night, they did not have any then. I looked. They had Scythe and one of the Saisons.

 

If anywhere does, I would think it would be the brewery itself. May as well call the shops, but generally the brewery is the last place in Asheville to have Skillet cans from a batch. I'd recommend keeping an eye out for a bottle of Massacre of the Innocents too, it is phenomenal.

 

Bestway had Skillet/Scythe/ Pils on Friday I believe.

 

Does this hit distro to Raleigh area? Visiting a friend there in 2 weeks.

 

Last batch till summer hit a few weeks ago. I don't think it lasted long.
