Connecticut is correct. NEBCO all the way.

Agree on Tree House edging out Trillium, Night Shift, Jack's Abby, etc. as well.

Would love to see a WORST brewery from every state list, that would be hilarious (and informative). Not sure that would last long here before getting zapped because it would just be people ripping the crap out of breweries but would still be fun to read!

I agree with Other Half being NY's best brewery.

I was impressed that they picked Creature Comforts in GA, which I think is correct.

Also surprised to see Perennial over Boulevard for Missouri; that one I'm not so sure about...

Nonetheless, good list, sounds like the author(s?) know their stuff

Wow Wiseacre for TN? One of (if not THE) most inconsistent breweries I have ever experienced. Seriously...I get underfilled cans and IPA's FULL of sediment like every 3 orders and every batch of their Tarasque Saison tastes different. I have pretty much chalked this up to trying to expand their distribution too fast. Their stuff is really good when it's good, but I don't like gambling every time I buy a 6 pack from a brewery.

I will say that their coffee milk stout is on point every time!

Solid list and agree with many of them.
I will only comment on my own state which is PA and victory is the wrong answer! Ha
    I'll take tired hands....hands down!

The list hits the no-brainers in the states with which I'm most familiar (Surly in Minnesota, New Glarus in Wisconsin, Toppling Goliath in Iowa). To me the biggest surprise was Arizona, where I thought Arizona Wilderness was a given, with Fate a strong if distant runner-up.

I disagree with MT. Big Sky is by far the biggest, but definitely not the best. I would put quite a few breweries ahead of them.

Based on what I've had from various states I think this is a pretty fair assessment.

All of the breweries on the list are good but many of the ones on the list are the best breweries that journalists and writers know about and their knowledge of anywhere other than where they are sitting can be fairly limited. I know a great deal about all of the breweries within biking distance of my house and the best brewery in Minnesota is often the one that I am sitting in.

I think I'd have to say Boneyard for Oregon. I have been impressed with Breakside, but I'm with you... I don't think it's number 1.

I agree with Oregon, Breakside is the bomb. I'd go with Bale breaker or Heathen for WA though.

Out of curiosity... who would you put ahead of them? I certainly hope you don't say Sun King.

It's amazing how some random list typed out by some dude gets people so riled up.

I'm actually surprised how many breweries I haven't tried on that list... I need to start drinking more.
