It seems like the prices on East End's stuff at Pizza Boy. The Moonstomp was $17 but they had Gratitude for $13 per bottle.

Isn't it just the Regular Kriek they put on tap all the time in Williamsport? My wife grabbed me growler fills of it last time she was out there about a month back. They just had it with Chocolate added when I was there last weekend. I don't think it's that uncommon of a beer to find?

They had black and raspberry for sale to go this past weekend and that was "released" a while ago. I don't think you need to be there around release time anymore (though weeks after may not be the case either) but I think they have been producing enough that they aren't sold out in a day anymore? Could be wrong.

Yeah. I seemed to have the complete opposite experience on Friday when you were there (If you were there Friday too). Though I was only ordering a beer for myself and would walk up by myself (and the other people I was with would walk up and get their own beer when they were done their drink) and I thought the pizza I had was delicious too.

Though I've never been one to hate on them for not doing flights. If they had one, cool. I'd probably order, but I don't care about ordering a full beer or an overpriced 8 oz pour. I just see it as a convenience fee at places when I want to try more than a few beers but only want a little of each.

It's one of the jong bruin kriek variants. I would need to check my email to see which one.

It's the Coffee Kriek that's available during the launch.

That is why I think they got the prices reversed. My buddy asked but they confirmed the prices.

Two teases from East End's Instagram:

"eastendbrewing: Quick stop at @alsofhampden's favorite fruit stand for 200lbs of sour cherries, 100lbs of peaches and we are on our way back home. #sahrs #intobarrelstheywillgo!"

"eastendbrewing: #Collaboratin' on a Ginger Cider (to be named) at @alsofhampden."

Kelly's has had this on tap recently. To me it is far more of a flanders oud bruin style than a kriek. It certainly isn't in the same league as the Grrrz Kriek, and I think that one is pretty overrated too.

does that DuClaw Retribution come around? I know somebody warned me to avoid them, but it seems intriguing.

I am actually down in Maryland for the week and snagged a bottle for $12.99 at the convenience store down the road. I'd be happy to bring one back for you if you'd like.
