Little #VBS from this past Friday:


Went down to Los Angeles to visit my mother and grandparents for the weekend, stopped by Firestone Walker Barrelworks in Buellton yesterday on my way back


Thats Bretta Weisse (batch 2), Bretta Rose (batch 2), (2013, 2014 and 2015) Helldorado and some honey goat gouda cheese, not sugar cubes lol

Then stopped by Firestone Walker Brewery in Paso Robles for dinner:

Enjoyed some 18th Anni and Bretta Weisse on tap with calamari and FW's '805 Pizza'

And finally came home to some beer mail from a friend of mine in the midwest:

COAST Blackbeerd is a great beer. Think this year was aged in Willett Rye Barrels. You'll like it the best of that bunch I'd wager.

The weather is perfect today.

 

90+ degrees with 80%+ humidity.

It's amazing if you want a shitty beer to taste good when you come back inside. Or if you're a lizard.

 

2 boxes leaving CO today, both for locals. @JNForsyth I sent the Pliny, but I think I'll send you another one next time it comes to town so it's a bit more #LehighFresh. @Devman171 this was one of the more painful boxes I've packed...enjoy! Forgot to throw in a can of the Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout...looks like I'll have to send you another box ...I know how you love your bull bits.
