Wicked Weed Funkatorium - Tap List

    I apologize in advance if this information is posted somewhere, but I couldn't seem to find it...

    Does Wicked Weed keep the same tap list at both the main location (Biltmore Ave) and the Funkatorium (Coxe Ave)?

    I am looking forward to sampling Freak of Nature DIPA and Pernicious IPA (at a minimum), just want to make sure if I only make it to the Funkatorium that those will be available. Their website doesn't seem to distinguish between the locations.

    They keep separate tap lists (although some of their beers will be at both locations, but fear not, its like a 5 minute walk from one location to the other). You're chances are better for finding Freak at their main location and even Pernicious. The Funkatorium is mainly where they have the sours/saisons with about 4-5 of their beers from their main location. Both places sell bottles to go home with as well. I'm sure an Ashevillian will be able to further elaborate.

    Thanks! Maybe I will go to the main location first, and then stop by the Funkatorium if time permits or just long enough to see if they have anything in bottles that the main location doesn't.

    If the ipas are your main priority then you'll want to hit up the brewpub. Especially if you want a growler or two (they even have cool Freak specific 32 oz ones). They do usually keep a few non sour beers at the Funkatorium, but not always Freak.

    i've found untappd to be a fairly reliable measure of what's available on an average day.

    One more question about Wicked Weed...

    Are the bottles that they distribute to local shops (Bruisin' Ales, Tasty Beverage, App Vintner) typically the same price directly from Wicked Weed as they are from the shops? Or does it vary?

    the prices will vary some in the shops but they're usually about the same as the brewery and funkatorium.
