Congrats, such a beautiful little girl, I hope mommy is doing well.

 

I have a box of trouble Ive been meaning to send to "someone". Just lucky work has had me tied down. Also a pulled groin muscle last week is helping as well.

 

I hope I'm not that lucky someone! And if I am, I hope that groin recovers soon. On second thought, no I don't.

I thought of doing that, but while figuring out the "correct answers" to all Nate's question is pretty easy, comparing them to the original guesses (which I did NOT bother tracking) isn't. If I do the first part I'll pass it on.

 

Or if Nate passed you a spreadsheet of guesses, I'd imagine that'd get you there?

 

Possibly, not definitely. I'm actually starting a new job next week, tomorrow will be my last day at this one and I might have a lot of stuff to finish up...but if it's really in a spreadsheet it should be doable.

 

Yeah I was 100% going on the assumption that you had nothing better to do. I'm still not convinced

 

Spreadsheet is on my work laptop, but if someone was scoring at home and wants to pass the results of the games to me, I can figure out the winner fairly quickly.

 

@NJB145 -- just in case this saves you some work, here are the correct answers (I think) -- somebody else should definitely double check total homers, total runs, and total hits.

1. Will at least 3 of the following teams (Orioles, Tigers, Astros, Mets, Reds, Padres) win their game on that date (all may not play on that day and in case of a doubleheader, they just need to win one)? NO (just the Mets and Astros won)
2. Will any games go into extra innings? YES (Cubs-Reds)
3. How many total homeruns will be hit? 0 - 11, 12 – 17, 18 – 22, 23 -27, 28 – 33, 33+ 28 – 33 (I counted 28)
4. Will any pitcher record more than 10 strikeouts? YES (Matt Shoemaker, Angels)
5. Will there be a game with no homeruns hit? YES (a few, including Pirates-Royals)
6. Will a player that shares my daughter’s first and last initials hit a homerun? NO
7. Will a player that shares my daughter’s first and last initials record a win or a save? NO
8. How many total runs will be scored? Correct guess will get 3 points, the five closest guesses will get 1 point each.
