Then why should they be catering to people like you specifically other than anybody else in the geographic region that isn't a regular?

Anyone know why berry bewitching is so much more expensive than previous releases? Are raspberries just that much more expensive?

And because it'll still sell out in 15 seconds haha. Don't blame them at all.

The difference between a saison/farmhouse vs. an AWA perhaps??

Why trade when you could just go to the tasting room and buy 2 bottles?

I have a feeling that today will be a little more crowded than the Honey Haole release a few weeks back

I heard there's a handful of people in line so far. I think this split sale thing is a good idea. Probably doesn't work for every brewery, but with Toolbox right now. It works.

This isn't true. Council has released many of their beers via BPT, arguably most of them.

Also, you are making an argument that is extremely personal and applying it to everyone, as if the business that is best for you is the business that is best for everyone.

I go to Modern Times at least once or twice a week, and I still prefer BPT sales. I don't cry or complain when I lose out, because that's how things go sometimes. Sure I'll be really bummed, but there is always good beer in the pipeline from them.

Finally, I don't understand how you can get to Vista in 30 minutes from "just north of downtown," which would be Mission Hills area, presumably. It takes me 30 minutes to get to Cardiff, and I live in Golden Hill area. I would think that you'd prefer BPT because you're not exactly local. I'm so confused by your post because if you like it so much, you'd be up there anyways, not just for bottle releases. I go to Toolbox so I can pick up bottles (purchased via BPT), which in turn has me going there much more often than I would otherwise.

I think if you take all the beatitudes for Council then they have released more via in-person than BPT.

Maybe, but didn't they have some BPT releases for Beatitude as well?
