Fresno only seems to update for steal the glass nights. A quick look at the Bakersfield Instagram looks similar. A weekly taplist update would be much appreciated.

 

I believe Native son ale house will have some bottles tonight for the anniversary party. Not a for sure thing though.

Well you are just a LA Douchebag ... quit hating on OC ... no Alpine for you - only Alpine* . That said, the original Knuckle Sandwichs (before they fucked it up into a malt-bomb) were highly sought after in the area. Maybe not a national whale - but arguably a local whale - bottle limits, sold out quick, lines at the brewery, etc.

Was lucky enough to snag a bottle today from my local shop. No IG post or announcement. Was a pleasant surprise.

 

But will the "B1 was better" camp have justification on this next one since the head brewer left. Leaving behind the recipe, sure, but what's that old saying? I can give you the ingredients. the recipe, but it won't ever come out the way I make it. Some such nonsense. I mean, I guess if they just dump a bunch of vanilla at the end it'll still sell out like crazy. I guess.

 

I've never understood these type of posts. Either share the location, or don't post anything at all.

 

What do you think this is, a community or something?

Hey j47paco, sorry. The shop was El Cerrito. I got the last one so that's why I didn't post the location in case others tried calling or going there. Dully noted for next time though.

Would have left the two stouts and directly referenced the style.

 

Knuckle Sandwich hasn't been even relevant for years. If they wanted to site something that moves quickly or is talked about, Noble did win back to back at IPA fest in L.A. with their offerings and Tongue Tickles is pretty damn nice. Not to mention that their shower series did garner quick turn around. Shit, didn't they also have that fig or some other random fruit sour that sold out at $20 per 375ml bottle this past year?
