OK -- so apparently I won a LIF that I didn't even know I had entered until @valrxman actually checked in a beer on untappd that he said would be getting sent to me. I figured I would get a few beers, and sort of forgot about it. Then today on the way home I stopped at a couple of stores to stock up on some of my "regulars", and for some weird (and as it turns out lucky) reason, did NOT pick up a few interesting IPA's I happened to come across.

Then I come home, and wow... I will atypically only post one picture today, but this is why I love the locals so much -- I don't know if many (or any) of these are "rare", or walez, but all are outside my distribution and I am psyched to try (or retry) them (and some will hopefully be shared next weekend).

Growlers and Crowlers and Cans, oh my! (and bottles)

Due South Midnight Marauder Black IPA - I love black IPA's (I haven't tried any new ones recently, but if you asked me in December I would have said this is my favorite style), and I liked the one Due South beer I tried in the past, so yippee!

Due South Category 5 IPA (x2) - this is the aforementioned "Due South beer I tried in the past"

    J. Wakefield Man(go) Eater Growler- this is the beer Steve had checked in on untappd -- I can't even find it yet on BA, but given that Steve tried it before filling the growler for me, I'm looking forward to it

Due South Mystery Crowler- Steve, what's in here??

Funky Buddha More Moro - if you're keeping count, this is the 4th IPA, so that's why I'm glad I didn't buy any myself

Funky Buddha Blueberry Cobbler Ale - this one's a little outside my comfort zone, but I'll certainly give it a shot!

Due South Café Ole Espresso Porter (x2) - I almost always enjoy coffee porters, so... I'm also psyched that this seems like a fairly new beer

Cigar City Jail Alai Aged on White Oak (x2) -- I've had this one before and enjoyed it. I'm convinced Steve fills these from the stream in his backyard and then uses them as padding in most boxes he sends. Oh yeah -- more IPA's!

Due South Pico Duarte- another Due South beer I'm looking forward to -- this one's an Imperial Stout

Thanks a ton Steve -- this was quite a pleasant surprise -- I'll have to think of a good LIF to offer up myself (since I received one today and won one yesterday) sometime soon...

Someone posted a random LIF so I went with a random of my own. Like #3000. You win! Just some locals from a trip Due South and more. That's the fun about random. You never know when or what you win. The crowler is Mexican Standoff. Enjoy

By the way Fedex sucks. They must have broken the other growler I sent out and have told my buddy that they do not ship alcohol. Those bastards

No, that's fine -- *earmuffs Kevin * I don't have a big problem with 2-week (or even month old) IPA's.

I've been working like crazy, sitting in traffic and been meaning to get active in this thread! I will be from now on! Glad you enjoy that beer! I see that Packers logo in the background. You should know that this beer is brewed where the Bears have their training camp! Which means nothing because we suck right now but one day that will mean something!

    Cheers!

You literally took my guess. That's kind of odd.

How about 369 (sorry if I PIR'd someone, blame Jason!

I tasted a little remorse and sadness in the bottle. Now it makes sense if it's brewed near the Bears camp, amirite @JNForsyth!

So, I took @gjoker321 up on his #pickitupformebro offer of RareDOS the other week and this box landed on my porch today...

A massive box of Florida goods, most of which I've never had before!

Looking forward to trying the RareDOS (obviously)
The Cigar City stuff is all new to me (with the exception of plain Jai Alai) so I'm excited to try that. Most of what I've had from them has been fantastic.
Never had anything larger than a 12oz from Terrapin, so again excited to try something from this series. A Blueberry Cobbler Farmhouse Ale sounds pretty damn delicious
Green Bench's Flordia Poster Girls has... 0 reviews, and 3 hads. Always something exciting about getting your hands on a beer that that few people have had.

Thanks again, awesome box. Be on the look out for return fire!
