Bad news for #teamno. In the interest of not having a repeat of my embarrassment Monday, I just did a practice gun of one of the beers I've slated for tomorrow's redemption (Princess Yum Yum).

While I don't think I'm ready for 32oz, this little beauty went down without a fight.

That is correct, only the 5th and final beer has to be shotgunned.

I'm hoping I can find the last 3 somewhere that I can snag an online purchase. Wasn't able to get white to keep the angel series alone but hey... It's just beer! Wicked weed keeps pumping out beers. I'll be back to grabbing them Memorial Day next year hahah

 

Maybe I'm wrong, and it's not my LIF so not my call, but it was my impression that #teamno already won based on your performance with the crowler. Tomorrow's performance only determines if you can open the challenge bottle, or need to pass it along. FWIW, I really hope you get to open that challenge bottle.

Black angel isn't part of the the Angel series they are releasing. Although probably the start of the program.

Next is angel of darkness. A blend of the raspberry apricot and grape Angels and aged in some sort of odd barre and a huge abv

 

So I just meant to do a blind comparison of KBS, SMS, and BCBCS. The first two were legitimately blind, but then I accidentally saw the last one in the fridge when we were looking through for other stuff to share. Surprisingly, I thought the first beer was SMS and the second was KBS, and I preferred the first. To my surprise, the first was KBS! The last two bottles of KBS I had I felt were rather thin, but this time around I noted it as having huge coffee on nose with a good amount in the taste, light bourbon notes but a good overall mouthfeel, and SMS to have a faint coffee nose, a lot more in the taste with a lot more of the bourbon coming forward in the finish.

All in all these two were the main two I wanted to blind taste anyway, so I'm glad I didn't confuse either of them for BCBCS, and I rated them both a 4.25, but doing a blind comparison is a lot more interesting/difficult to guess than I thought it'd be
