I'm heading there next week - I know I can get Dogfish 60 IPA, which others?

    Thanks!

Definitely Three Floyd's Dreadnaught, Arctic Panzer Wolf, and -- I think it's still available -- Apocolypse Cow. Pipeworks Ninjas vs. Unicorns is great and The Blood of the Unicorn is a nice hoppy red ale (8.5% ABV). Bells Two Hearted is a good one, too.

Bottle shop wise, I like Fischman's Liquors and Binnys South Loop for good selection of locals/regionals. Haymarket Brewing has good guest taps in addition to their beers and Map Room is a great bar for regional and hard-to-come-by stuff. It's also down the street from Revolution Brewing which is awesome.

Check the places directory, the ratings are a good indicator of places you'll want to check out if you have time.

Pipeworks Ninja Vs Unicorn. Really damn good, exclusive to Chicago, and consistently fresh since their bottle runs are so low.

If you can still find it. If you have a car you can head out to FFF Brewpub that is between 30 and 40 mins. from downtown depending on traffic. Check and see if Zombie Dust is available. I don't disagree with anything that has been mentioned, however, these are my suggestions (some are DIPA's and APA's) repeats included:

FFF: Dreadnaught, Arctic Panzer Wolf, Alpha King, Zombie Dust (if available), Apocalypse Cow (if available)

Revolution: Anti-Hero IPA (Revolution cans and bombers should start showing up stores anytime now, unfortunately no Iron Fist or Double Fist yet)

FW: Union Jack and Double Jack

    Pipeworks: Ninja vs. Unicorn

Haymarket: A growler of Mathias DIPA (amazing!), plus make sure to try any of the other IPA's and Belgian-style IPA's on tap. You can't go wrong with any of them...

    Half Acre: Daisy Cutter

i've seen some some spots with A. Cow. so definitely an IF, if you can find it, decently fresh, but yeah still do-able as far as being found. i found some other spot outside of the city that i didn't know sold some craft beer stuff, i found some A. Cow there, who knows if it's fresh....

There are some stores with FFF Blackheart though some may say it is "too far gone" now.

If you aren't looking for Chicago and surrounding area specific beers I'd suggest you try Bells Two Hearted and Founders Centennial IPA

Blackheart is fantastic. In my experience, it drinks quite well for a fairly long period of time.

Just came back from Chicago on Sunday. Brought back FFF Dreadnaught, Blood of the Unicron, and a 4pk of Daisy Cutter cans. There are some excellent options of locals to take back.

Might as well swing by Fox & Obel or Un-Cork-It since you're so close. Might have some FFF bombers still. Binnys on Grand Ave. otherwise, just like ravot said!
