Give an Advocate a voice and he will order a beer, give him a microphone and he will force us all to order more!

Just like I have never given anything a 10, it's hard for me to rate anything the lowest of the low. I have had a few beers I would give a score of 1 to on their 1 to 10 scale, but this was not among how bad those were. Hub City Golden Ale, Milwaukee's Best Light, Beck's Light and Stack High Gravity Lager are amongst my lowest rated beers of all time.

I was busy, and missed the show on friday. :slight_frown: What beer did you all open?

*Edit* - I took at a look at KDGE website, and see that you all opened Moylans Hopsickle.

And I see they added your picture to their website for Beer for Breakfast Chad! Awesome!

Thanks for the votes of confidence! I never knew that I would like being on the radio as much as I do, but I'm finding it really enjoyable. Not to mention, I get to start out my Friday mornings doing something I'm passionate about.

What should we drink next? I've got some influence over this, and she mainly just wants things that are "somewhat available" so people can find what we drink.

    Cheers,
    Chad

I listen pretty frequently and I've never heard them taste a brown ale. I think Real Ale's Brewhouse Brown would be something they might really enjoy.

I think the big question on everyone's mind is, do you get paid for this gig?

I think you aught to try to push more Texas beers onto the show. Some Jester King would be a good start...

No I don't. In fact I bought the beer last week so it cost me money to be on the air haha....

I got to choose though, which was cool so I really didn't mind. Not to mention, it's just 1 beer.

Even the names of some of the JK beers are great for a rock radio station. Regardless I'm all for helping people explore Texas beers. Deep Ellum or Peticolas connection with the local community could also make for good radio.

As soon as bottles hit the shelves, I'll be trying for Peticolas. Deep Ellum has already been on the program

Actually now that I think about it, Peticolas has also been on their program I believe. I do want to try and have Lakewood on after they're up and running though. Then Four Corners, Revolver, etc.
