I wonder if they'll indulge us as that's a great question. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with warnings/points etc. in which case I wonder if those in this and the swtfyw thread may regret asking for warnings/points.

 

Points play a role. More so active points.

 

Someone at the spring house bar just asked them to change their two tvs to TBS to watch some movie. Really? I doubt it's a top 3 for @PassMeAZima

Hmm criteria not disclosed but I'd bet number of completed trades with good feedback is a qualifier.

@StrongRepublican And I actually had this conversation while we were running. We decided the harder part for me was certainly the drinking... The run gave me time to belch!

 

I guess it depends on the proportion of good responders vs. bad but I do wonder if the opposite approach would be better (one, maybe two strikes and you're out). As it stands, there's a lot of "responsibility" on the few people that have the privilege.

Also, won't this somewhat encourage BM-shitting (hehe) as opposed to thread-shitting? I can still just BM a poster and tell them their offer is way off etc. At least before if it was public somebody else could come in and counter it...

 

Agreed. I was thinking that for me as long as there wasn't a time limit I'd rather have to do a mile between beers because it would give me time to sober up a bit. Even at 4% or whatever if I had 5 in 12 minutes I'd be feeling it pretty good but spread out over an hour I'd be in somewhat better shape (no pun intended...)
