Isn't that the Stone way? I know Stone Pasadena is especially known for that. Stuff gets blown out because they didn't get their full shipment and then in a few days they're restocked and rocking and rolling. I'd wait for a instagram post about a restocking, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that's what happens here and more bottles show up in the next few days.

That's exactly what I expect to happen. But I probably won't be able to get over there during a weekday.

Went to the release today. I thought I was going to look like an idiot showing up at 10:30 because I left a little earlier than expected.

Really didnt expect to see a line of 50 people infront of me...was like uhhhhhh what.

Speaking of, I came across a few bottles of this on the shelf today at Whole Foods Arroyo in case anyone is looking. $27.99 per.

Stone might not ever get a bottle to whale status but I do know that no one ever accomplished anything by not trying...

They have done it twice actually. 02.02.02 (possibly the only witbier that will ever gain white whale status) and there is also stonewall ale.

It was hilarious to see the Bottle Logic release followed by a non-existent BA Full Malted release. Even with lesser popular style, the first time it was released with 150 bottles, it sold out in hours.

Yup. Which I guess just proves that B1 is always better....

Actually this batch is way better. It also came out before the bottle logic release. The anniversary beer was around the time of bottle logics release. Warfare in the streets for beachwood is next month.

FO was released on the 30th, Full Malted was released on the 31st. I agree that this batch is tasting better, I was just making that sarcastic joke that people assume B1 is always better. In regard to hype train, it was. :stuck_out_tongue:

Fair enough. Yeah B1 was good, but B2 so far has been amazing. Like they won bronze with B1 at GABF, but they could have easily won gold if B2 was B1.

This happened already today. Not sure how much they got but they posted on Instagram about half an hour ago.

I think pasadena still has the charred left. I stopped by at 11, but their truck didn't arrive until a hour+ later. Oh well!
