    This
    And this
And Dru stop stirring the pot. There will be a line to OSU for that one...be smart to release it on a week day as well yo spare the staff at jackie o's.

I heard 250 cases so if allotment is 6 per it wouldn't take much for 500 people to show up and snag it up. Being compared with huna and Mexican cake this won't sit long and not being $12 won't deter based on price as much.

I'm excited for it. I'll want to drink a bunch of them but too many good trading partners/friends across the country to surprise with this one to keep it all to myself.

I have spread false information yet again!!!

Brad question for ya. Ghost or habanero? I was at the anniversary party and it was rumored that batch had ghost while the previous had habanero? Am I just spreading more fall info?

I believe the anny batch used scorpion peppers IIRC. Can't say which for the first batch

So what will be happening with the Lucile bottles? I get the decision to not release them based on what @beace posted in the blog. On the other hand, releases commonly have extremely limited bottle counts. Not everyone will always be able to get everything. At least with the other bottles, everyone that shows up would likely be in a solid position to get one of each. Is there any chance of reconsideration? Or perhaps a lottery to allow purchase of them? Token of Our Extreme was really limited in bottle count, wasn't it?

All things considered, it's the best bet for my money. Opinions may vary.

On a related note, a new, large hotel is opening on State, soon.

Yea no real preference on hotel, most will run you 100-150$. Ou inn is walkable, but for everywhere else you can use green cab to take you to and from JO's.

I already had plans to go down to Athens with my brother that weekend so this is quite a nice surprise. Can't wait for this release!

Im holding on to them for now. Token had 200+, and that was when we had a little over 200 people coming to the releases. Now we have over 300 people showing up. There are about 150 bottles, we are not interested in shutting out a bunch of people creating the possibility of a bad event, or creating some negative responses via blogs/forums. Its too limited, so we are going to sit on them till it makes sense to put the bottles out.

This is definitely one of the reasons you guys are are one of my favorites. The way you guys handle releases makes it so that we actually get to enjoy ourselves rather than waiting in line for hours at a time at horrible hours. As much as all of us want to have a bottle of it, I definitely respect the decision. The next release sounds amazing anyways. Can't wait to make another trip down!

@beace are you guys dog friendly since the kitchen is out of commision by chance?

Coming to the release either way, just trying to decide what to do with the pup.

Kitchen is operating out of brewpub side now. Taproom at large brewery is dog friendly.
