A lot better than working on excel files, although I do love designing dashboards.

Downside.....I get incredibly thirsty for some beer!

Coffee Abraxas didn't mesh well for me.

One stands out clearly, Pliny the Elder. Just not all that. At all. Both tries were fresh by bottle date (less than a month). The second time I wanted to make sure it wasn't my imagination so had a taste of my wife's LT Limbo at the same time. Yep, Limbo was better. I'm ready for the inevitable screaming.

In general, some of the Dogfish Head one-off beers have been very disappointing. I have decided to pass on them regardless of how few are bottled. I appreciate their creativity but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and just drain it.

Heady is not best immediately. John Kimmich says it peaks at 10 weeks. I tend to agree that it needs to settle down a little. It also holds amazingly well for an IPA if refrigerated. Doesn't lose much of anything for months.

I only shop at the stores where they don't charge a premium for singles. It is silly to charge more but maybe some people don't seek out the ones that don't, patronize them and refer people to them.

I suppose I get this. I never think of it as hyped, since I just grab it at my local shop now and then. It is expensive, but all Maine beers are expensive. I think it is legitimately well above average, but so is MO and so are many of their beers. It shouldn't be trade bait, nor should Zombie Dust (MO is better) or most other things people trade for.

Can't disagree here too. Had it twice, both less than 2 weeks old. While it was excellent, it wasn't the "angels singing" experience I was expecting. Maybe the hype machine was working too well on it, I don't know. I certainly wouldn't pass it up if offered, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I really like Another One better to be honest. They make good beer all around though.

I agree with this one as well. Had it side by side with lagunitas born yesterday and i thouhgt that was much better. Pliny is good but not better than my favorite regionals.

Dark Lord. Was on my radar for years. A friend put together a vertical of every version going all the way back to 2005...and the "best" version (2 years old at the time) was still so-so at absolute best.
