haha this weekend @NickyPogs and I were talking about how he never has to trade anymore because of this group. I'm definitely not one to ask for any thing but am the first to give bottles away. I was going to have a contest for the weekend but got Nick's approval a little late. We were going to a street fest and I was going to have people guess how many times Nick pointed out a hot girl. Thankfully I didn't do that because halfway through the night Nick was spotted making out with a girl. It would have been an early end to the game!

I've been wanting to do this! What French press is that? I mean I guess it doesn't really matter. Can you throw up the recipe for that?

A few of us were going to head to another bar and her friends begged me not to take him. When he finally got his hands off her ass and she was heading out the door she thanked me for not taking him! haha

I don't know what brand the french press is, but the key to doing this with coconut is lightly toasting the coconut in the oven beforehand but do not burn it. Also use unsweetened coconut, otherwise it turns into a sugar bomb which is not good. I put the coconut in the french press first then put the BCBS in, put it in the fridge and let it sit for an hour usually. The carb goes down but the coconut flavor is so worth it. I have also put toasted coconut in a growler that was 1/3 full and let it sit for 2-3 hours and strained through a cheesecloth(or a very fine strainer would work also) and that was great too. I've done a couple sours pressed with raspberries but I prefer the coconut as I am a junkie.

I typically do unsweetened coconut with a little pure vanilla extract in the oven at 300 for 10minutes. Then place 6 oz of Bcbs in French press with toasted coconut for 45 minutes to an hour. Then blend with the other 6 oz of Bcbs that is still carbed in the bottle.

Shes not on BA unfortunately. Im still fighting the good fight. She likes stouts and porters, as well as sour/funky beers which i find awesome. But she could never drink a whole glass. She just likes to sip from mine. I love taking her to nightshift and sharing flights.

If there was a cider advocate... she would be a poobah

One thing I learned in college was how to shotgun a beer with minimal spillage. What you do is first of all put down that damn knife you are going to stab yourself and use a key or even a can opener with the point on it. Second you want the hole right below the mouth opening but at the bottom of course. Third turn the can in such an angle so that the natural air bubble is at the puncture point, maybe a 45 degree angle. Now that air bubble isnt that large so you want to puncture at the most bottom point of the can as possible. Puncture at an angle with key and no beer flies out or very little unless you shook the can up before hand. Then turn back over and the tab should be at the perfect spot to pop while can is ready to shotgun in your mouth. Try that out let me know how it works

Perfectly worded... my performance was indicative of how out of practice I am more so than how good at it I used to be, and that's all exactly right.
