They don't even know what they're in for. This is going to be an absolute shit show. Is there even enough room in Elkader for how many people are going to be there?!

It's going to be such a great day. Last year was so much fun and an absolutely beautiful day.

Nope, Schera's just posted on Twitter and Facebook moments ago, all available tickets have been reserved.

Indeed. With the website still saying the on sale date is Sep 2nd and the ninja sell out in the middle of the day I'm sure people are going to be pitching fits.

I'm not too happy about it myself to be honest and I'm about as hard a beer nerd to rattle as there is.

 

It was all laid out in the initial announcement that the list for sales on 9/2 was starting today though. /me shrugs

Yeah, I'll bet answering the phone over there was a nightmare last year.

Just speculating... Since nobody had to pay for anything right away today, I wonder how many people reserved spots just in case they're able to go, and will back out once it comes time to buy tickets and something has come up where they can't go, or they don't buy as many as they reserved because a buddy backed out, or whatever. I feel like this situation is ripe for spots to open up once tickets actually go on sale.

I was thinking the same thing, in regards to future tickets opening up. I've got tickets but really have a hard time imagining everyone who signed up to sell this thing out will buy their full allotment come September 2nd.

 

They're transferable (I think I read that) and desireable. I don't like the odds of too many spots opening up.

Personally, I didn't email because I have a wedding to attend, but I got a kick out of Schera's thanking Iowans for their overwhelming interest.
