Driving from VA to visit Treehouse this Thursday. Also hoping for some Julius cans. Really glad to see C20, TWSS & Green on for fills!

I guess I can settle for growlers . Wonder if they will package anything later in the week.

Just read ~460 cases available of Julius. If my math is correct, that should be enough for 1,800+ people with the 6 can limit.

do they really get 1800 person volume in 3 days at those limited hours? seems like this limit is a little low. what do i know though.

Last time they had 600+ people come for 12pp Julius + AE cans in 3 hours so I think it is pretty reasonable that they could see 1800 people in their given hours

I think the limit is way too low in my opinion. It should be 12 with this many cases...enough for over 900 people. It's frustrating to drive 90 minutes round trip for 6 beers. (Perhaps they will release more cans as well, and I'll eat my words). I know I can get growlers too, but that usually equates to a longer wait.

Of course, if there was a 12 pp limit, tonight would be extremely busy and they probably are trying to limit that some.

I'm sure the crew has considered all of this and weighed their options, so I'll just sit back and see what happens...

true. i went last time for that. not that i'm a hoarder, but higher can limits justify my trip. i can't with 6 can limit. i'm sad today.

The simple answer is it is def possible

My other answer to this is to keep the crazy crowds down some as know can only get 6 cans instead of 12 like last release may make less people rush there today

My advice to you: Don't drive 90 minutes for beer unless you have a damn good reason

The reason is beer. good enough?

Not IMO, but everyone's priorities are different.

Thusly, this sums up the tension within beer hunting today. What is frustrating to you is likely great for most everyone else. And what is great to most everyone else is frustrating for you.

We've gotten to a point where people feel the need to "justify" their beer traveling/buying on the amount of beer they're allowed to purchase. And if that amount isn't large enough, they feel chronically aggrieved. The liquid has become secondary to the quantity one can hoard.

I have loved every Tree House beer I've ever had, but I can't imagine driving that far for any beer, be it TH, Trillium, Heady, etc. But I totally understand that many folks don't share this view. For me, Tree House is a special treat when I'm in Springfield for work or visiting friends in Western Mass.
