San Diego Bourbon County Variant Share

    I agree with @CapnTrav on this one as well. As stated in the description, this is primarily a Variant share. I'm envisioning probably 8 or so people total, one for each variant bomber. I'm assuming between the 8 or so that have the bombers, we will be able to have some BCBS, BCBBW, and BCBS there as well. I'm really not as interested in a BCBS vertical as I am the variants.

    I'm in. I got a '10 BCBS 12oz, along with 13 and 14 bottles if needed and I will work on getting something else

    looking at the spread sheet, its at 11 people currently with alot of multiples of some variants and vert years, so what if we make it an even 12 people, try and get someone with an 09/10 to complete an almost full vert and call it a day? i think with the amount of brews(including multiples) it should be more than enough 12+% beer for everyone?

    The issue is the amount that everyone will get. I don't want each person to get such a small pour that you can't fully enjoy it

    Yeah, no matter how I say this I'm going to sound like a douche, so I'll just come out and say it...

    I'm not interested in only getting 1oz of my Rare.

    When are you guys thinking of doing the share? I will be in SD area from Aug 15-21/22. I would love to meet some west coast people and I may be able to fill one or two of the missing slots in the spread sheet.

    Lisa and I would be very interested, be happy to bring some other bottles, don't have much in the way of BCS. But some good bottles hanging around the cellar. Also OK if we don't get pours of it all, just want to clean out the cellar and enjoy!

    Alright everyone, working on putting together the specifics on this share. I'm planning to limit it to 11 people so that everyone gets a 2oz pour. Also planning to have each of the variants present, with the exception of Prop, as well as BCBS 07-14 and BCBCS 11-14.

    Still need someone to track down a Bramble and some 09 BCBS

    Everyone let me know if you will be happy with 2oz pours of everything or if I need to limit it further. Just as a heads up, we won't have as big of a vertical of BCBS or BCBCS is we limit the number of people further.

    I'm not as interested in the vertical so that's not a big deal to me. I have two years worth so I can bring those if that helps.

    It's just 13 prop we are missing correct? Or 14 too?

    The three listed above are the bombers that I'm still looking to include. I have a Prop 14 myself, but it is otherwise spoken for. Everyone on the spreadsheet that is highlighted is tentatively locked in and the highlighted beers are the ones I'm going to ask that they bring. If I have to cut people, those that are not locked into a variant bomber will, unfortunately be cut first. Trying to keep this as fair as I can. The purpose of the share is for everyone to try the variants and to keep the numbers low enough that everyone gets a sufficient tasting of each.

    My idea was to combine a couple bottles to trade for Prop 14. I have a trade partner that will trade it but I haven't been willing to "pay" what I need to to get it. So I was going to suggest I put in a bottle and someone else put in a bottle. BASS, MT Rum variant, or some other of that caliber. It gets more complicated so I don't know if anyone is interested.

    If anyone is, let me know. I'd really only be interested in doing it for a share like this.
