Schell's Noble Star - Starkeller Peach

I was in the Twin Cities this weekend and stopped by the Cub Liquor on Robert's Street on my way home this morning. They had 11 on the shelf and I bought all of them (no limit). Great price @ $13.99. My friends have spoken for most of them - I'll keep two.

I did feel a little guilty doing it, but I'm selling them to my friends who appreciate fine beer and only keeping two myself. So at least other people are getting a chance to enjoy this beer too.

 

His point was, why did you feel the need to tell us? Nobody cares if you bought a store out and are selling them to friends. Sorry.

 

Best to just not post about clearing the shelf... the friend thing is also very old

 

Clearing out a store is poor form imo especially when most stores only got a case (12 bottles)

Picked up a bottle at MGM Woodbury. They had 7 left $16.99 no limit. They also had North Country Brunette, Dawn of Aurora and Cyprus Blanc

 

If anyone is still looking, I have good and bad news. Good news is I saw two bottles at Skol Liquor in South Mpls tonight. Bad news is they're $18.99. On the other hand, I walked out with a six pack of Schell's hefe for $5.50 including tax.

 

I saw that lineup at Haskell's in Maple Grove the other day, with a "Blue Light Special" on the Brunette:

 

Schell's posted on Twitter that they will have Noble Star #9 Apparent Horizon at All Pints North. Anybody know the release date for that one yet?

 

Not sure on the release date, but its supposed to be a berliner w/ a good portion of rye (35%) on the malt bill. Sounds a little strange, but I said the same thing about Cypress Blanc and ended up loving it.

 

Anybody see any Starkeller Peach in the West metro recently?

 

Heading up to Minneapolis tonight. Sorry if this is a silly question that's been asked already but what are the odds of finding this either on tap or a bottle or two to take home?

 

Not good unless you do an IP trade. Got any Zombie Dust you're bringing with?

 

There are places here and there that will still have it, but it's few and far between. You'd probably be better served posting an IP trade. Zombie Dust?!?!

Ha, sadly didn't have a chance to pack any! But thanks for the feedback. I'll still keep an eye out but won't be too hopeful.

 

For those still on the hunt it may be a bit of a drive but there are 6 or more bottles on the shelf at the MGM off of 169 in St. Peter.
