Went to Beachwoods for the first time over the weekend...holy sh!t batman! Hopernicus is insanely good! Too bad the keg kicked while I was there.

Mocha machine! Took some fresh home made coconut scones to last year's draft release, super tasty. They were still warm!

Nope, they were all out. I was going to get a growler but then the keg kicked before I left. I was super bummed. Oh well, I'm going to drink some sip of sunshine to wash my tears away.

The Thrillseeker released yesterday is really good. Heard bottles will be distributed.

Anyone know how bottle shares and BYOB works at Beachwood? My GF hates going there with me because they rarely have sours on tap and the only house beer she likes is Rose Royce.

Yep. Tried that already. She's not a fan of the prices of the bottles.

She sounds fun. I just glanced at the online version of the Long Beach bottle list and things like a $14 3F OG and $15 Liefmans Goudenband seem pretty reasonable for restaurant pricing. If they have a corkage policy, I would have to imagine it will make any bottle equally as expensive (if not more so) as your normal restaurant markup.

Could not agree more. Beachwood has some of the best restaurant bottle prices around.

Sounds like my girlfriend haha it can get pricey buying just sours for her since that's the only style she likes, bottle shares they are super cool with at beachwood I would say just be courteous of their business too and not bring big parties on their busy times

While they do turn the blind eye on bottle sharing, I do think a lot of folks don't bother to share with the bartenders and skimp on ordering enough to make it worth the real estate you're taking up. I'm leaning more and more to saying that eventually this will be looked down upon at beachwood and they're just too nice right now to say otherwise. Because, let's face it, it's getting to be a dick move for a place that has both amazing house beers as well as a great guest tap list and a reasonable bottle price.
