Hi Phriends. I went to resurrect last year's thread but turns out for some reason it got locked by the mods. However, since this year's Phish SE run does indeed start next weekend, I figured I'd post a new thread here to see if anyone would be interested in some sort of bottle share in the lot at ATL or Tuscaloosa? I'll be at all 3 of those shows and would like to crack a few bottles with fellow BA's. Last year a few of us had a good time in the Alpharetta lot with a bottle share graciously hosted by @DawgPhan . I likely won't have a car at the lot for any of the shows, so unfortunately I cannot host, but I can certainly bring a bunch of beers to open. If any BA's are going to these shows and are interested in sharing some beers let me know!

Not next week, but I'll be at Raleigh (6th row whoohoo!). Will be drinking some brews in the lot for sure.

Tour opener was just Sample btw.

6th row, sick! My first ever show was that ridiculous Pittsburgh show in 2003 with all the bust outs, and I was 3rd row right in front of Gordo. Just got really lucky with tickets, back before online sales and you had to go to actually ticket master vendors to get tickets. Went to some department store at my local mall that had a TM outlet and scored 3rd row seats! Have never been anywhere close to that proximity to the stage since, haha. Enjoy those killer seats man!

I'll probably be at Raleigh but I likely will be rolling in right before the show cause I think I have to work that AM and its a 4-5 hour drive. But if I can make it earlier I'll let you know!

We got 'em by by going up to the actual box office here in Raleigh the day of the on-sale. Even brought a Crowler to share ha.

Thats awesome, I didn't realize that venue box offices even opened for on-sale dates anymore. It used to be a fun tradition for me and my friends, party the night before the tickets go on sale and then the morning of wake up early and head to an outlet to buy tickets. The internet has changed everything. Now I feel old, haha.

Pseudo Sue for the lot and Pallet 2 and BA biscotti for post show hotel fun, pretty psyched for this run. These are the only shows I'll make this summer which is not the norm so I'll be going all out.

Believe the setlist form last year went like this.

H2O > Heady Topper, Hop Dang Diggity, Focal Banger, Raspberry Tart, Mexican Cake > Bomb! > H2O, Bretticent, Hop Drop and Roll, The Crusher, Saison Rustica, Pseudo Sue, Dulcis Succubus > Hop Drop 'n Roll Reprise

Jam Session > Walk in > Budheavy 25oz

I will be in ATL for both shows. I doubt I will be able to do a bottle share as I will be with a whole crew of people but who knows. I will be bringing a ton of good beer though, and hoping to bring home some Burnt Hickory.

Nice man! I'll see you in the lot! Not sure about post show festivities, girlfriend is joining me for the road trip (is only going to the show on ATL 2 cause she's not a phish phan) so I'll be with her post shows, but will be in the lot pre-show each of those nights for sure!

Yeah it was a pretty legit bottle share for sure haha. I think I joined right after Raspberry Tart (and I was greeted with Heady Topper reprise), and dipped out after Saison Rustica. So many good beers flowing.

Looks like nothing official will be going down this year in terms of a bottle share in the lot, but I will be bringing lots of good beer on the road trip. Not sure what my pre-show routine will be (like I said likely won't have a car in the lot at any of the shows) but I'm sure I'll have some beers on hand and will be wandering around. Enjoy the shows everyone!

Has anyone ever tried to bring a sixtel keg into the lot before? Why or why not might that be a dumb idea?

I didn't realize it was a earlier start time or I probably would have tuned in tonight. Not sure why every show this tour starts at a different time, bizarro. But yeah, show looks solid. No new songs yet tonight, maybe a No Man set closer?

In regards to a sixtel, I have never taken a sixtel to a lot or seen one at a Phish show. I have seen kegs at other bands lots though. Don't see why it would be a problem (unless the wooks confuse it for a nitrous tank and start lining up beside your car).

Lulz at nitrous tank confusion, not one of the issues I had had thought of but a legitimate concern for sure.

Do you mean different start times other than the time zone adjustments? The first 4 shows were on west coast and the 2 Texas ones were central. It's pretty much always whatever the equivalent of about 8:15 eastern is I think.

If you look on phish.com tour section it lists the start times for the shows in local time. You will see that they range from 6pm-7:30pm, maybe 8pm. I assume its so they can livestream and pull in the East Coast audience for revenue, but even the east cost shows have some variation (7 or 7:30). I just think its odd.
